Writing Prompt: Afternoon Tea

Continuing the Iconically British theme, what could be more quintessentially British than a pot of tea? Us Brits love a good cup of tea … Feel sad? Have a cuppa. In shock? Have a cuppa. Feeling chilly? Have a cuppa.

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

C.S. Lewis

Tell me of a time when tea was an important part of your story. Was it an important conversation that was held whilst drinking tea with a friend, a partner, a family member? Was it good news or bad? Did the tea help to soften the blow? How important is a good cup of tea in your story?

Tell me your story the comments – I might feature some on my blog!
